Dianna Carter, a middle school
teacher in Troy, received a grant for knitting looms from TWA. She purchased knitting looms and yarn and taught
the students how to make hats. The students learned a skill that may well turn out to be a lifelong hobby, they made
149 hats for the homeless that were donated to the Salvation Army.

Sarah, a Troy Special Education Teacher and her aid were
pleased to receive a box of gifts for her store the students buy from using their tickets the earn for working hard. March 2008
